Apple WWDC 2011 to Convene in San Francisco: 10 Things to Look for

Apple is planning to hold its Worldwide Developers Conference in San Francisco starting on June 6. The company will also be holding its annual keynote address where, historically, Apple CEO Steve Jobs has talked about updates to software and new versions of the company’s iPhone. However, recent rumors suggest iPhone news won’t be prominent at the event this year, and those in attendance will sit through discussions on software, including iOS 5 and Apple’s upcoming desktop-based operating system, Mac OS X Lion. For its part, Apple hasn’t released specific details what it has planned for WWDC and all of the reports surrounding the event are little more than rumors. But based on what Apple has said so far, and how the company has organized its keynotes in the past there are several other things that consumers and developers can look forward to at this year’s event.
